We attend a Baptist Church at Study Butte and were invited to the Red Horse Ranch for a potluck following church. The minister does mission work at SD Pine Ridge reservation with kids in the summer.

How many years did it take for the Rio Grande to cut Santa Elena Canyon? We took a float trip thru the canyon years ago.
At the bottom of Santa Elena Canyon and at the end of the trail. The canyon is up to 1500 feet deep. Mexico is on the other side of the river. We walked 4 miles today.
