We left Bracketville 2/3 for a stop at Lake Casa Blanca SP at Laredo, TX. Laredo is a busy city of 266,000+ and is a major shipping/receiving point for products to/from Mexico.. We stayed at the state park on the eastern edge of Laredo near the airport. Traffic was bad enough that we just stayed in the park.d Here are a few of the pictures from our stopover.

After leaving Laredo, we went to Falcon State Park along the edge of Falcon Lake. The lake was created when a dam was built on the Rio Grande along with a crossing to Mexico. The entire area is under extreme drought. Here are some of the pictures taken during our stay.

We try to attend church every Sunday. This is a struggling Baptist church at Falcon Heights. There were only 13 in attendance. The minister gives a sermon in Spanish at a different time and also works at a mission across the border in Mexico.
