About Us and Our Family
We have been retired for many years. Vic was an airline pilot and Donna a registered nurse. Our home is in Whitewood, SD. We sold our Palmer house in 2020. In addition we have a remote cabin in the upper Susitna Valley at Treasure Creek and a Piper Super Cub which we keep in a hangar at Palmer, Alaska.
Our lifestyle has been to visit Alaska in the summer, spend the fall season in SD, travel with our camper January thru early April to the Southern US, and spend Spring in South Dakota. We generally walk a mile or more each day and try to maintain a healthy lifestyle thru diet and exercise. Vic is still playing baritone horn or trombone in the Belle Fourche Cowboy Band and the New Horizons Band in Rapid City. We attend the Methodist Church and are active bird watchers and members of the Northern Hills Bird Club.
We have children in LaValle, WI, Cosmpolis WA, Belle Fourche, SD, Reno NV area, and Georgetown, IN.
We have developed this website to share our travels with family and friends thru E-mail links which will give them the option of reading if they so desire. The site will contain pages for recent adventures, photos, and our opinions articulated on the blog page. Security seems to be an issue in today's world, so we will only use first names and not addresses or phone numbers.
