Deer at Double Adobe.  A lady hand feeds them and they come out to be fed.  Javelinas also, but not hand fed.

We attended church in Sierra Vista.  When signing the guest book Donna discovered our choir director Jennifer from Palmer was also visiting.  Coincidence or what?

We stayed at Double Adobe RV which is quiet and in the country and visited local birding sites and Sierra Vista.  Our next stop was Patagonia where we got over two inches of rain which was much needed in AZ.  Tried to visit a bush pilot from Alaska wintering in Patagonia but he had gone to Phoenix.  Reversing our routing at the starting of the trip put us into the Tucson area at the start of the gem and mineral show which is huge and plugs up hotel and RV parks for miles.  We found an RV park SW of Tucson and drove to Green Valley, Tubac, and Saddlebrooke.

Visiting my college roommate Tom and wife Irene in Saddlebrooke near Tucson.  We were assigned rooms and roommates at South Dakota State and met by chance.  Our friendship has continued 70 years.

Barrel Cactus in bloom.  We tasted pulp one time in Texas when Boy Scouts had cut one open and offered us a sample.  It was bland, but juicy..
